Know Before You Go: Allyn Friends & Family Day
We’re almost there. Here’s everything you need to know before you join us at Universal Kids Resort in Frisco on Thursday, June 18. Please read to the bottom.
Arrival & check-in
Check-in begins at 9:00 AM at the main entrance. Have your confirmation email with QR code (in your confirmation email) ready to scan at check-in. To give yourself room for parking and security screening, plan to arrive on the early side — by 9:30 AM — so you’re inside the park before 10:00 AM, when the day’s first moments begin.

Parking
The lot opens at 8:45 AM and parking is free. Enter through the Parking Toll Plaza and present your Friends & Family Parking Pass (below) to the Toll Booth Attendant. You’ll be handed a card to display on your dashboard and attendants will direct you to your parking area. Once parked, you will be directed to Friends & Family Check-in at the Main Entrance. Security screening
All guests pass through metal detection on entry, and bags, purses and personal items are subject to X-ray or additional inspection.
What to wear
We ask that you and your guests wear clothing that is cool and comfortable and good for outdoor activities and water attractions. There are splash pads in SpongeBob’s Bikini Bottom, so it’s a good idea to pack a change of clothes for the kids. Please also keep clothing free of visible brands, action or animated characters, slogans or political views. Universal Kids Resort and Allyn reserve the right to deny entry to any guest whose clothing falls outside these guidelines.
What to bring
- Your Friends & Family Parking Pass (the image above) — show it at the Toll Plaza for parking
- Your confirmation email with QR code — scan it at check-in at the main entrance
- Sunscreen — much of the day is outdoors
- A reusable water bottle is welcome
Outside food and drinks aren’t permitted, with two exceptions: water and baby or toddler food. Refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the park.
Accessibility
Wheelchairs and strollers are available once you enter the park. Ride height requirements and restrictions are posted at each attraction.
Photo & video
This is a media day, so credentialed press, content creators and Universal’s own team will be capturing the park’s first moments throughout the day. By registering you agreed to our photo and video release, which means you and your family may appear in event coverage, social content and promotional material. Once the day begins you’re welcome to take your own photos and videos and share them.
Feedback
We want your honest feedback, and we want to make sure it reaches the right people. If something isn’t working or you have a concern during the event, please find an Allyn team member on-site so we can address it in the moment, or share your thoughts in the post-event survey we’ll send the following day. With media on-site capturing the park’s first moments, we want any concerns handled directly and promptly by our team rather than getting lost in the energy of the day.
