The nine public all-girls schools (grades 6th-12th) across Texas that comprise the Young Women’s Preparatory Network (YWPN) create college graduates with high-earning potential in underserved communities, often breaking cycles of poverty that have spanned generations. In order to reach as many young-women as possible, it was important for YWPN to expand its public-private partnership model. Doing so required the school network to hone its messaging and be able to share the YWPN story in a more professional way to reach more donors and potential school partners. Allyn Media helped YWPN achieve its goals by re-branding the organization with a new logo and color palette and developing a concise messaging platform. We also created a video that not only tugged at the heartstrings but showcased the network’s vast experience and successes. As part of the re-brand we also developed collateral, a new website and an online portal for the network’s educators and alumni, and trained YWPN staff on best practices for social media and heightened awareness of YWPN’s success stories through targeted public relations efforts.
