The Texas African American History Memorial Foundation engaged Allyn Media to produce the unveiling ceremony for the Texas African American History Memorial, installed on the South Lawn of the Texas State Capitol in Austin. Our successful fundraising effort secured corporate and private donors to sponsor a weekend of celebratory activities. We wrote and designed commemorative creative communications tools, handled media outreach throughout the state, and managed the dedication on November 19, 2016 when Governor Greg Abbott, Representative Helen Giddings and Mayor Sylvester Turner welcomed thousands of Texans to the unveiling ceremony.
