Texas A&M University and the Texas A&M University System are leading the state in building the first on campus hotel and conference center with a philanthropic fundraising component that allows donors to receive a guest room option (GRO), which gives donors the first right to book that guest room any night of the year – for the home football games, other sporting events and other special events – for 10 years. The University and System hired Allyn Media to manage philanthropic fundraising on this project.
- Created a brand platform, including a name and logo, for the new project.
- Developed collateral materials, a video and website to launch and market the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center.
- Designed a marketing center complete with wall graphics, and all of the collateral, videos, promotional items and signage for affiliate groups, and hosted donors at the marketing center.
- Served as spokesperson in TV, radio and newspaper interviews on the project on behalf of the University and System.
- Coordinate on philanthropic fundraising with affiliate groups including the Texas A&M Foundation, Association of Former Students, 12th Man Foundation (athletic Foundation), Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets Foundation and George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Foundation.
- Developed relationships to help advance philanthropic fundraising with the Deans of various colleges at Texas A&M University.
