Southern Methodist University’s Deason Criminal Justice Reform Center was created under the direction of nationally recognized Sixth Amendment and ethics scholar, Pamela Metzger, using stats and stories to effect change in our nation’s criminal justice system. The Deason Center conducts, supports, and disseminates research with practical implications for criminal justice reform, educates SMU students about criminal justice issues, and advocates for the implementation of reforms and best practices. Allyn Media supports the Deason Center with video storytelling, strategic media outreach and message development.
