With so many shootings and acts of violence making headlines across the country, a major casino and hotel knew they needed to develop a comprehensive crisis communications plan so they were prepared if something similar happened on their property. Allyn Media worked with leadership, key casino and hotel staff, plus public safety and emergency management teams, to develop a detailed crisis communications strategy and implementation plan. Our team provided threat assessment and research, a media call triage plan, media and spokesperson training, a stakeholder communication strategy, base message development for more than 100 potential crisis situations, and digital crisis management strategy. In addition to the overarching crisis communications plan, Allyn Media developed messaging and consulted on strategy during several crisis situations including an officer-involved shooting, high profile personnel changes, property expansion plans, and changes in the political and legal landscape that affected their business.
