Debra Meek has been an integral part of the Allyn team for more than six years, serving in a variety of roles across the agency. She supports both corporate and nonprofit clients with strategic media relations, manages critical elements of political campaigns, and leads Allyn’s event planning services with skill and precision.
Debra’s expertise in planning and executing high-impact, media-facing events was instrumental in the successful announcement, that garnered global media coverage, of Universal Kids, a new theme park for families with young children in North Texas. Debra has also led major event planning and management for Trust for Public Land, Walmart, UNT Dallas, Resource Center, Young Women’s Preparatory Network, Lockhart Smokehouse and many political campaign events and Allyn hosted activities. Her exceptional organizational abilities and close connection to local vendors combined with a consistently positive and solution-oriented attitude, make her a valued contributor to every project and client she supports.
Before joining Allyn, Debra worked in student ministry at a local church, where she planned community events and secured sponsorships for initiatives such as Picnic in the Park, fall festivals, student retreats, and summer camps.
Debra and her husband are proud parents of two children serving in the military—one in the U.S. Air Force and the other in the U.S. Marine Corps. She holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Texas–Permian Basin and enjoys spending her free time hiking, gardening, or volunteering at the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center.
